In collaboration with carers who have direct experience of providing care to those affected by dementia, e3learning have developed a series of five courses targeted at understanding dementia, and how to provide care for those affected by dementia. The courses are intended for carer’s working in a care environment.

Infection Control

Based on the Australian National Infection Control Guidelines, and, where more specific to aged care, on a consensus about best practice from a consortium of five leading aged care facilities.

Assist with Self Medication

The course provides care workers with a clear understand of their roles and responsibilities when assisting clients with medication.

Hazard Management

Provide managers and supervisors with the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to effectively manage hazards in the workplace.

Hazardous Substances

A series of courses covering hazardous substance use in the workplace.

Incident Investigation

Provide participants with the theoretical and practical knowledge required to carry out incident investigations in the workplace.

Injury Management

Courses for both employers and employees that provide a comprehensive understanding of the injury management process.

Manual Handling

Provides the knowledge and understanding required to reduce the risk and associated cost of manual handling injuries.

OHS Fundamentals

Introduce participants to the underlying legislation, processes, roles and expectations associated with Occupational Health and Safety.

The bullying and harassment courses were developed in conjunction with EMA Consulting, a leading industrial relations consulting firm. There are two versions, one for employees, and one for managers/supervisors.

Employee Management – Coming Soon

Employee management course modules are being produced with the assistance of EMA consulting to help employers and managers recognise, manage and resolve issues relating to employee performance and misconduct. An employer needs to manage their employees in a way that provides procedural fairness and meets the legislative requirements of the process. This series of course modules will instruct employers and management staff on how to practically meet those requirements.
