OHS Fundamentals.

Course Details

e3learning, in conjunction with WorkCover Corporation, have developed the OHS fundamentals course to introduce participants to the underlying legislation, processes, roles and expectations associated with Occupational Health and Safety. The OHS Fundamentals for new workers course provides additional training about the importance of the OHS induction process and what that process needs to cover.

Throughout the course, interactive workplace simulations, downloadable activities and animations develop and reinforce the participants understanding of the fundamental skills employees need to keep safe in the workplace.

Learning Outcomes

After completing the courses, participants will have:

  • An understanding of what to look for in the workplace to keep safe
  • A practical understanding of how to follow workplace safety procedures
  • An understanding of the roles and responsibilities of each level of workplace responsibility

Existing Employees

The employee course covers:

  • The need for health and safety systems in the workplace
  • Basic OHS roles and responsibilities
  • Overview of the hazard management process
  • OHS expectations in the workplace
